Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.)

Manchester offers a four-year doctoral program that leads to the awarding of the Doctor of Pharmacy degree (Pharm.D.).

In our Pharm.D./Pharmacogenomics Dual Degree Program, students can simultaneously earn a master’s in pharmacogenomics along with their pharmacy degree, adding this specialized skill to their resume and leading the way to the future of health care.

Earn your Pharm.D. remotely with the Distance Pathway. About 90 percent of coursework can be completed online, with only 15 weeks over four years required at our Fort Wayne location.

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Physical therapists treat their patients through prescribed exercises, hands-on care and patient education. They develop a treatment plan to improve the patient's ability to move, reduce or manage pain, restore functions and prevent disability. The Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Manchester University is the entry-level degree required to earn professional licensure to practice and commence an exciting professional journey as a physical therapist.

At MU's Fort Wayne Location, you'll have the opportunity to earn your degree in less time (30 months), use state-of-the-art PT Labs and participate in the student-run pro-bono clinic that caters to the needs of diverse communities.

Master of Athletic Training (MAT)

The Master of Athletic Training degree prepares students to become Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC). The MAT program is designed for students with a bachelor’s degree, but with minimal knowledge and experience in athletic training and who did not major in athletic training as undergraduates. Graduates of CAATE-approved programs are not eligible for admission.

Master of Science in Pharmacogenomics

Manchester University’s Master of Science degree in Pharmacogenomics (MS in PGx) and Graduate Certificate in Pharmacogenomics (GC in PGx) give students the unique opportunity to enter one of the newest and most exciting fields of science: personalized medicine, also known as precision medicine. The study of the relationship between an individual’s genes and his or her response to a drug allows physicians and other clinicians to prescribe drugs to maximize therapy early on and avoid or decrease the chance of adverse effects.

The Master of Science in Nutrition and Nutrigenomics (MSNGx) Program is a full-time, two-year degree program that combines online course delivery with an experiential learning component that gives students practical experience in a variety of settings, with a goal of preparing them for licensure as Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs).

Manchester’s curriculum integrates studies in nutrigenomics, which makes connections about how an individual’s genetic makeup affects his or her response to food and nutrients. As a leader in genomics education, MU is one of the few universities in the nation to focus on this cutting-edge science.
